I grew up in Aurora, Nebraska as the youngest of four boys.  Outside of school I tried to spend as little time as possible indoors.  I absolutely loved playing sports, hunting, and exploring anything and everything.  I had the opportunity as a junior and senior to spend time at Aurora Elementary observing 5th grade students and assisting with math and reading groups.  There my passion and enthusiasm for education sparked and ignited.

 

I graduated from Aurora High School in 2011 and attended Doane College (now Doane University) from 2011-2015.  While at Doane I competed in cross country, indoor, and outdoor track for the tigers.

I still enjoy spending time outdoors, hunting and running.  I currently coach cross country, track, and basketball at Grand Island Northwest High School.
